New figures from Kantar WorldpanelComTech for the 12 weeks ending August 7th 2011 show how fast the Android OS is growing in the UK. Its share for the same period in 2010 was 22.9 per cent.
The OS has grown largely at the expense of Symbian, which went from 26.3 per cent to 7.2 per cent, and from iOS, down eight per cent to 20.8 per cent.
